तत: शक्रेण भगवान्‌ स्वयंभूरिति चोदितः विधत्तां भगवानन्तमात्मनो हितकाम्यया,तब इन्द्रने भगवान्‌ ब्रह्माजीसे इस प्रकार निवेदन किया--'प्रभो! अपने (और हमारे) हितके लिये आप ही इन दानवोंका अन्त कीजिये'

Transliteration

tataḥ śakreṇa bhagavān svayaṃbhūr iti coditaḥ | vidhattāṃ bhagavān antaṃ ātmano hitakāmyayā ||

Translation

Bấy giờ, theo lời thúc giục của Śakra (Indra), người ta khẩn cầu Đấng Tự Sinh Brahmā: “Muôn tâu Thượng Đế! Vì sự an lành của chính Ngài và của tất cả chúng tôi, xin Ngài hãy diệt tận bọn ác ma này.”
