अप्रमेयो5प्रधृष्यश्न युद्धेष्वप्रतिमस्तथा । अजेयस्त्व॑ हि संग्रामे सर्वैरपि सुरासुरै: । अथाब्रवीत्‌ पुनर्देव: सम्प्रहृष्टतनूरुह:,तुम युद्धमें अप्रमेय, अजेय और अनुपम हो। संग्रामभूमिमें सम्पूर्ण देवता और असुर भी तुम्हें पपाजित नहीं कर सकते।” इतना कहते-कहते देवराजके शरीरमें रोमांच हो आया। तदनन्तर वे फिर बोले--

Arjuna uvāca:

aprameyo 'pradhṛṣyaś ca yuddheṣv apratimas tathā |

ajeyas tvaṁ hi saṅgrāme sarvair api surāsuraiḥ |

athābravīt punaḥ devaḥ samprahṛṣṭa-tanūruhaḥ ||

Translation

“Ngươi không thể đo lường, không thể công phá, và vô song trong các cuộc chiến. Quả thật, trên chiến địa ngươi là kẻ bất khả chiến bại—dẫu toàn thể chư thiên và a-tu-la hợp lại cũng không thể thắng.” Nói đến đó, thân vị thần linh rùng mình vì hoan hỷ; rồi Ngài lại nói tiếp—
