Transliteration

arjuna uvāca | hitvā kirātarūpaṃ ca bhagavāṃs tridāśeśvaraḥ | svarūpaṃ divyam āsthāya tasthau tatra maheśvaraḥ ||

Translation

Arjuna nói: “Bấy giờ Đấng Thế Tôn, bậc chúa tể của chư thiên, liền gạt bỏ lớp ngụy trang Kirāta (thợ săn núi) và hiện ra trong chính thần tướng rực sáng của mình. Tại đó, Mahādeva đứng lộ rõ.” Trong mạch truyện, đoạn này nhấn mạnh rằng thần linh có thể khoác hình dạng khiêm hạ để thử thách chí nguyện của người cầu đạo; khi sự kiên định và chân thành được chứng tỏ, sự hiện diện thiêng liêng sẽ tự bày tỏ công khai, xác nhận rằng lòng sùng kính và nỗ lực có kỷ luật có sức chuyển hóa đạo hạnh.
