त॑ प्रयान्तं महात्मानं सर्वे यक्षा धनाधिपम्‌,धनाध्यक्ष महामना कुबेरके प्रस्थान करनेपर समस्त यक्ष भी उनके साथ चले

Transliteration

taṁ prayāntaṁ mahātmānaṁ sarve yakṣā dhanādhipam | dhanādhyakṣaḥ mahāmanā kuberaḥ prastheti (iti bhāvaḥ) ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Khi Kubera, bậc đại tâm—chúa tể của tài vật và người trông coi kho tàng—lên đường, toàn thể Yakṣa đều theo hầu cùng đi. Cảnh ấy nêu rõ trật tự tự nhiên của lòng trung thành và sự phụng sự: kẻ tùy tùng theo bước vị chủ chân chính khi người thực hiện một cuộc xuất hành trọng đại.
