Kuberasaras-darśana (Bhīma beholds Kubera’s guarded lotus-lake) / कुबेरसरः-दर्शनम्
भ्रातु: प्रियमभीप्सन् वै चकार सुमहद् वपुः । देहस्तस्य ततो$तीव वर्धत्यायामविस्तरै:,उन्होंने अपने भाईका प्रिय करनेकी इच्छासे अत्यन्त विशाल शरीर धारण किया। उनका शरीर लंबाई, चौड़ाई और ऊँचाईमें बहुत बड़ा हो गया। वे अमित तेजस्वी वानरवीर वृक्षोंसहित समूचे कदलीवनको आच्छादित करते हुए गन्धमादन पर्वतकी ऊँचाईको भी लाँघकर वहाँ खड़े हो गये
vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhrātuḥ priyam abhīpsan vai cakāra sumahad vapuḥ | dehas tasya tato 'tīva vardhaty āyāma-vistaraiḥ |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Muốn làm điều vừa lòng người anh của mình, chàng đã hóa thân thành một hình thể vô cùng to lớn. Rồi thân thể ấy tăng trưởng mênh mông về chiều dài và bề ngang, nở rộng vượt mọi giới hạn—một sức mạnh được đặt trọn vào bổn phận huynh đệ và sự trợ giúp trung thành.
