Bhīmasena–Hanūmān Saṃvāda: The Tail Test and the Divine Path
तत् सरो<5थावतीर्याशु प्रभूतनलिनोत्पलम् । महागज इवोद्दामश्रिक्रीड बलवद् बली,उसमें प्रचुर कमल और उत्पल खिले हुए थे। बन्धनरहित महान् गजके समान बलवानोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीमसेन सहसा उस सरोवरमें उतरकर जल-क्रीड़ा करने लगे
tat saro 'thāvatīryāśu prabhūta-nalinotpalam | mahā-gaja ivoddāma-śrīkrīḍā-balavad balī ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Trong hồ ấy, sen hồng và súng xanh nở dày đặc. Rồi Bhīmasena—mạnh nhất trong những kẻ cường tráng—nhanh chóng bước xuống hồ và vui đùa trong nước với sức lực phóng khoáng, như một voi lớn vừa thoát khỏi xiềng xích.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Power is not inherently destructive; when guided by restraint and context, strength can appear as harmless exuberance and recovery—an ethical reminder that vigor should be governed rather than unleashed in harm.
The narrator describes a lotus-filled lake, and Bhīma, the strongest of the Pāṇḍavas, quickly enters it and plays in the water with great energy, compared to a mighty elephant freed from its bonds.
