एवमभ्यागतस्थेह कपोतस्या भयार्थिन: । अप्रदाने परं धर्म कथं श्येन न पश्यसि

Transliteration

evam abhyāgatastheha kapotasyā bhayārthinaḥ | apradāne paraṃ dharmaḥ kathaṃ śyena na paśyasi ||

Translation

Nhà vua nói: “Con bồ câu này vì sợ ngươi mà đến đây cầu nương náu để giữ mạng. Không trao kẻ đã đến xin che chở, ấy là dharma tối thượng được gìn giữ. Hỡi diều hâu, sao ngươi không thấy?”
