आर्ता निपेतु: सहसा पृथिव्यां कुरुनन्दन | सर्वाश्ष गर्भानलभंस्ततस्ता: परमाड़्ना:

Transliteration

ārtā nipetuḥ sahasā pṛthivyāṃ kurunandana | sarvāś ca garbhān alabhanta tatas tāḥ paramārditāḥ ||

Translation

Bị nỗi khổ đau dồn ép, hỡi niềm vui của dòng Kuru, họ bỗng ngã quỵ xuống đất. Rồi sau đó, những người phụ nữ ấy—đau đớn đến tột cùng—đều sảy thai, thân tâm chấn động bởi cực hình của thống khổ.
