लोमश उवाच शृणुष्वावहितो राजनू् राज्ञस्तस्य महात्मन: । यथा मान्धातृशब्दो वै लोकेषु परिगीयते,लोमशजीने कहा--राजन्! लोकमें उन महामना नरेशका “*मान्धाता” नाम कैसे प्रचलित हुआ? यह बतलाता हूँ, ध्यान देकर सुनो
Lomaśa uvāca: śṛṇuṣvāvahito rājan rājñas tasya mahātmanaḥ | yathā Māndhātṛ-śabdo vai lokeṣu parigīyate ||
Lomaśa nói: “Hỡi Đại vương, hãy lắng nghe chăm chú; ta sẽ giải bày về vị quân vương đại hồn ấy—rằng vì sao danh ‘Māndhātṛ’ được ca tụng và truyền xướng khắp các cõi.”
