Sukanyā’s Encounter with the Aśvins and Cyavana’s Rejuvenation (लोमश–सुकन्या–च्यवनोपाख्यानम्)
ततः सुकन्या सब्रीडा तावुवाच सुरोत्तमौ | शर्यातितनयां वित्तं भार्या मां च्यवनस्थ च,तब सुकन्याने लज्जित होकर उन दोनों श्रेष्ठ देवताओंसे कहा--'देवेश्वरो! आपको विदित होना चाहिये कि मैं राजा शर्यातिकी पुत्री और महर्षि च्यवनकी पत्नी हूँ
tataḥ sukanyā sabrīḍā tāv uvāca surottamau | śaryātitanayāṃ vittaṃ bhāryā māṃ cyavanasya ca ||
Bấy giờ Sukanyā, thẹn thùng vì lòng đoan trang, liền thưa với hai vị thần tối thượng ấy: “Xin các ngài hãy biết—thiếp là ái nữ của vua Śaryāti, và là chính thê hợp pháp của hiền thánh Cyavana.”
