कस्य त्वमसि वामोरु वने5स्मिन् कि करोषि च । इच्छाव भगद्रे ज्ञातुं त्वां तत्तमाख्याहि शोभने,“वामोरु! तुम किसकी पुत्री और किसकी पत्नी हो? इस वनमें क्या करती हो? भगद्रे! हम तुम्हारा परिचय प्राप्त करना चाहते हैं। शोभने! तुम सब बातें ठीक-ठीक बताओ”
kasya tvam asi vāmoru vane 'smin kiṁ karoṣi ca | icchāvaḥ bhagadre jñātuṁ tvāṁ tattvam ākhyāhi śobhane ||
“Hỡi người có đùi thon đẹp, nàng là con gái của ai, và là thê tử của ai? Nàng làm gì trong khu rừng này? Hỡi người hữu phúc, chúng ta muốn biết rõ thân phận của nàng. Hỡi giai nhân, xin hãy nói rành rẽ mọi điều đúng như thật.”
