Kirmīra-rākṣasa-saṃgamaḥ (Encounter and Slaying of Kirmīra) |
tvanniyogakarāv etāv iti me nārado 'bravīt | tathā nārāyaṇaḥ purā kratubhir bhūridakṣiṇaiḥ ||

The verse highlights dharmic order: rightful commands are carried out through appointed agents, and divine honor is expressed through properly conducted sacrifices accompanied by generous dakṣiṇā—emphasizing responsibility, mediation, and ethical giving.
Arjuna reports what Nārada told him—identifying two beings as executors of a higher command—and then draws a parallel to ancient precedent, recalling how Nārāyaṇa was revered in earlier times through richly endowed sacrificial rites.
