मैत्रेयागमनम् — The Arrival of Maitreya and the Admonition to Duryodhana

ततो निष्कण्टकं कृत्वा वनं तदपराजित: । द्रौपद्या सह धर्मज्ञो वसतिं तामुवास ह,तदनन्तर विजयी एवं धर्मज्ञ पाण्डुकुमार उस वनको निष्कण्टक (राक्षसरहित) बनाकर द्रौपदीके साथ वहाँ रहने लगे

tato niṣkaṇṭakaṃ kṛtvā vanaṃ tad aparājitaḥ | draupadyā saha dharmajño vasatiṃ tām uvāsa ha ||

Sau đó, người con của Pāṇḍu—bậc am tường dharma, kiên định không khuất phục—đã làm cho khu rừng ấy trở nên không còn gai góc hiểm họa, rồi cùng Draupadī cư ngụ tại nơi trú xứ ấy.

Dharma is shown as constructive and protective: the righteous leader first removes dangers and establishes a safe, orderly environment, then lives in restraint and duty even in exile.
