Surabhi–Indra Dialogue as a Governance Exemplar
भवांश्ष मन्यते साधु यत् कुरूणां महोदयम् । तदेव विदुरो<प्याह भीष्मो द्रोणश्न मां मुने,मुने! आप भी वही उत्तम मानते हैं जो कुरुवंशके महान् अभ्युदयका कारण है। मुने! यही बात विदुर, भीष्म और द्रोणाचार्यने भी मुझे कही है
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | bhavān hi manyate sādhu yat kurūṇāṁ mahodayam | tad eva viduro ’py āha bhīṣmo droṇaś ca māṁ mune ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Quả thật, khanh cho rằng con đường tốt nhất là con đường đem lại sự thịnh vượng và nâng cao rực rỡ cho dòng Kuru. Chính lời khuyên ấy, hỡi bậc hiền triết, Vidura, Bhīṣma và Droṇa cũng đã nói với trẫm.”
