Kṛṣṇa’s Counsel to Dhṛtarāṣṭra in the Assembly

Educational Q&A

Even in a politically charged setting, dharma expresses itself through proper honor and restraint: elders and leaders uphold social and moral order by respectfully receiving a worthy guest and acknowledging spiritual-moral authority.

In the Kuru assembly, Bhīṣma, Droṇa, and others rise from their seats and advance to welcome and honor Śrī Kṛṣṇa, with Dhṛtarāṣṭra placed at the forefront as the formal head of the court.
