अपि वाचं भाषमाणस्य काव्यां धर्मासमामर्थवतीमहिंस्राम्‌ । अवेक्षेरन्‌ धार्तराष्ट्रा: शमार्थ मां च प्राप्त कुरव: पूजयेयु:

Transliteration

api vācaṃ bhāṣamāṇasya kāvyāṃ dharmasamām arthavatīm ahiṃsrām | avekṣeran dhārtarāṣṭrāḥ śamārthaṃ māṃ ca prāptaṃ kuravaḥ pūjayeyuḥ ||

Translation

Ta sẽ nói lời vì hòa bình—lời được bậc hiền trí tán đồng, hợp dharma, có mục đích, và không vướng bạo lực. Nếu các con của Dhṛtarāṣṭra chịu lắng nghe, ắt họ sẽ thuận theo. Và các Kuru cũng sẽ kính trọng ta, nhận biết rằng ta thật sự đến vì việc lập hòa bình.
