इन्द्रस्य दुःखप्राप्तिः—त्रिशिरोवधः, वृत्रोत्पत्तिः, जृम्भिकाजननम्

Indra’s Distress: Slaying of Triśiras, Birth of Vṛtra, and the Origin of Yawning

त॑ तु वजहतं दृष्टया शयानमचलोपमम्‌ । न शर्म लेभे देवेन्द्रो दीपितस्तस्य तेजसा

taṁ tu vajahataṁ dṛṣṭvā śayānam acalopamam | na śarma lebhe devendro dīpitas tasya tejasā ||

Nhưng khi Thiên vương (Indra) thấy hắn nằm đó—bị Lôi chùy đánh gục, bất động như một ngọn núi—ngài vẫn không tìm được bình an. Indra vẫn bứt rứt trong lòng, như bị thiêu đốt bởi tejas rực cháy của kẻ đã ngã xuống; điều ấy cho thấy chiến thắng nơi chiến địa không tự khắc đem lại an nhiên khi người ta còn đối diện dư âm của sợ hãi, day dứt, hay niềm kính sợ trước tapas và tejas của đối phương.
