Kuntī’s Lament and Govinda’s Consolation

Educational Q&A

Even in politically charged and conflict-bound situations, dharma is upheld through sincere, respectful speech and honoring elders and exemplars of duty; Kṛṣṇa’s conduct models ethical diplomacy and restraint.

Vaiśampāyana narrates that Kṛṣṇa approaches King Dhṛtarāṣṭra and, upon meeting him, offers due honor to Bhīṣma through appropriate and straightforward words, setting a tone of formal respect in the royal assembly.
