Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
महावेगो महोत्साहो महाबाहुर्महाबल: । मन्दानां मम पुत्राणां युद्धेनानतं करिष्यति,वह महान् वेगशाली, अत्यन्त उत्साही, विशाल-बाहु और महाबली है। वह युद्ध करके मेरे मन्दबुद्धि पुत्रोंकोी अवश्य मार डालेगा
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | mahāvego mahotsāho mahābāhur mahābalaḥ | mandānāṁ mama putrāṇāṁ yuddhenāntaṁ kariṣyati ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Hắn có tốc lực phi thường và khí thế không gì cưỡng nổi—tinh thần bừng bừng, cánh tay rộng lớn, sức mạnh vô song. Chỉ cần bước vào chiến trận, hắn ắt sẽ đưa những đứa con ngu muội của ta đến chỗ diệt vong.”
