Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 50 — Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Appraisal of Bhīmasena (भीमसेनभयवर्णनम्)
कुर्वन् रथान् विपुरुषान् विसारथिहयध्वजान् । आरुज न् पुरुषव्याप्रो रथिन: सादिनस्तथा
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca |
kurvan rathān vipuruṣān visārathihayadhvajān |
ārujan puruṣavyāpro rathinaḥ sādinastathā, sañjaya |
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Hỡi Sañjaya, Bhīma, bậc trượng phu hùng mạnh ấy, khi dốc sức trong chiến trận, sẽ khiến các chiến xa trơ trọi—không người đánh xe, không kỵ mã, không cờ hiệu—và sẽ nghiền nát tay chân cùng sức chiến đấu của cả chiến xa binh lẫn kỵ binh. Như dòng Gaṅgā dâng cuộn, tràn qua vùng ngập nước mà bật gốc, quật đổ muôn loài cây ven bờ, Bhīma bước vào chiến địa cũng sẽ tiêu diệt đạo quân của các con ta như thế.”
