Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 3 — Sātyaki on Inner Disposition, Legitimacy, and Coercive Readiness
गमिष्यन्ति सहामात्या यमस्य सदन प्रति । यदि वे परम बुद्धिमान् युधिष्ठिरके चरणोंमें गिरनेका निश्चय नहीं करेंगे, तो अपने मन्त्रियोंसहित उन्हें यमलोककी यात्रा करनी पड़ेगी || १३ है ।।
gamiṣyanti sahāmātyā yamasya sadana prati | yadi te parama-buddhimān yudhiṣṭhirakasya caraṇeṣu patanasya niścayaṁ na kariṣyanti, tarhi sva-mantribhiḥ saha teṣāṁ yama-loka-yātrā bhaviṣyati || na hi te yuyudhānasya saṁrabdhasya yuyutsataḥ |
Vaiśampāyana nói: “Họ sẽ đi, cùng các đại thần của mình, về phía cung điện của Yama. Nếu những kẻ ấy—dẫu trí tuệ hơn người—không quyết ngã xuống dưới chân Yudhiṣṭhira để quy phục, thì họ sẽ phải lên đường đến cõi Yama cùng các mưu thần. Bởi họ không thể chống nổi Yuyudhāna khi chàng nổi giận và khát chiến.”
