War-aversion, Desire as a Policy Fault, and Analysis of Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Governance
एवंरूपं कर्मफल नरेन्द्र मात्रावहं हृदयस्य प्रियेण । स क्रोधजं पाण्डव हर्षजं च लोकावुभौ मा प्रहासीश्चिराय
sañjaya uvāca | evaṃrūpaṃ karmaphalaṃ narendra mātrāvahaṃ hṛdayasya priyeṇa | sa krodhajaṃ pāṇḍava harṣajaṃ ca lokāv ubhau mā prahāsīś cirāya narendra ||
Sañjaya nói: “Tâu đại vương, chớ cầu xin quả báo của hành động theo kiểu ấy—chỉ đo đếm bằng điều làm vừa lòng trái tim. Hỡi con của Pandu, mong ngài lâu dài đừng rơi vào một trong hai cõi ấy: địa ngục sinh từ cơn giận, hay thiên giới sinh từ niềm hân hoan của sự chấp trước.”
