Transliteration

mahārathau ca pāñcālyau yudhāmanyūttamaujāsau | vīryavantau mahātmānau gadākārmukadhāriṇau ||

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: Lại có hai đại chiến xa của người Pāñcāla—Yudhāmanyu và Uttamaujā—dũng mãnh, tâm hồn cao cả, tay mang chùy và cung. Lời kể nhấn mạnh sự chuẩn bị của phe chính nghĩa và sức mạnh có kỷ luật, được dẫn dắt bởi chí hướng cao thượng.
