ते समेत्य यथान्यायं धार्तराष्ट्रा महाबला: । कुरुक्षेत्रस्य पश्चार्थे व्यवातिष्ठन्त दंशिता:,धृतराष्ट्रके वे महाबली पुत्र रणक्षेत्रमें जाकर कवच आदिसे सुसज्जित हो कुरक्षेत्रके पश्चिम भागमें यथोचितरूपसे खड़े हुए
te sametya yathānyāyaṃ dhārtarāṣṭrā mahābalāḥ | kurukṣetrasya paścārthe vyavātiṣṭhanta daṃśitāḥ ||
Vaiśampāyana nói: Các con trai hùng mạnh của Dhṛtarāṣṭra, sau khi hội tụ đúng nghi thức và trật tự, trang bị đầy đủ giáp trụ và binh khí, liền chiếm lĩnh vị trí ở phía tây Kurukṣetra.
