केन कालेन गाड़्ेय क्षपयेथा महाद्युते । आचार्यो वा महेष्वास: कृपो वा सुमहाबल:
Sañjaya uvāca: kena kālena gāṅgeya kṣapayethā mahādyute | ācāryo vā maheṣvāsaḥ kṛpo vā sumahābalaḥ |
Sañjaya nói: “Hỡi Gāṅgeya, rực sáng bởi đại quang huy! Trong khoảng thời gian nào ngài có thể khiến toàn bộ đạo quân này đi đến diệt vong? Và trong thời gian nào, thầy Droṇa—đại cung thủ—hoặc Kripa, bậc lực sĩ vô song, có thể hoàn tất việc tiêu diệt đạo quân đối địch?”
