हन्यामहं महाभाग पाण्डवानामनीकिनीम् | दिवसे दिवसे कृत्वा भागं प्रागाह्लिकं मम,महाभाग! मैं प्रतिदिन पाण्डवोंकी सेनाको पहले अपने दैनिक भागमें विभक्त करके उसका वध करूँगा
hanyām ahaṃ mahābhāga pāṇḍavānām anīkinīm | divase divase kṛtvā bhāgaṃ prāgāhlikaṃ mama ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc cao quý, ta sẽ đánh tan đạo quân của nhà Pāṇḍava. Ngày qua ngày, sau khi đã dành riêng phần bổn phận thường nhật của ta vào buổi sớm, ta sẽ tiến hành việc tiêu diệt họ.”
