एवं ब्रुवाणो गान्धारे रामो मां सत्यविक्रम: । शरब्रातेन महता सर्वतः प्रत्यवारयत्,गान्धारीनन्दन! ऐसा कहते हुए सत्यपराक्रमी परशुरामजीने मुझे सब ओरसे अपने बाणोंके महान् समुदायद्वारा आवृत कर लिया
evaṁ bruvāṇo gāndhāre rāmo māṁ satyavikramaḥ | śaravrātena mahatā sarvataḥ pratyavārayat ||
Hỡi con của Gāndhārī! Khi Rāma (Paraśurāma), bậc anh hùng có dũng lực chân thật, vừa nói như thế, liền dùng một trận mưa tên dày đặc vây bủa ta bốn phía.
