Amba approaches the Paraśurāma context; Hotravāhana’s counsel and Akṛtavraṇa’s report (अम्बोपाख्यानम्—रामदर्शनप्रसङ्गः)

तं तु वैवाहिकं दृष्टवा कन्येयं समुपार्जितम्‌ । अब्रवीत्‌ तत्र गाड़ेय॑ं मन्त्रिमध्ये द्विजर्षभ,द्विजश्रेष्ठ! वहाँ वैवाहिक आयोजन आरम्भ हुआ देख यह कन्या मन्त्रियोंके बीचमें गंगानन्दन भीष्मसे बोली--

taṃ tu vaivāhikaṃ dṛṣṭvā kanyeyaṃ samupārjitam | abravīt tatra gāḍeyaṃ mantrimadhye dvijarṣabha ||

Thấy lễ cưới đã khởi sự và thấy mình bị định đoạt cho hôn lễ ấy, nàng liền nói ngay tại đó, giữa triều thần, với Bhīṣma—con của sông Hằng—và xưng tụng ngài là bậc tối thượng trong hàng “nhị sinh”.
