Bhīṣma’s Appraisal of Pāṇḍava-Alliance Warriors (Śikhaṇḍin, Dhṛṣṭadyumna, and Allied Kings)

समायुक्तो महाराज रथ: पार्थस्य धीमत:ः । वासुदेवश्च संयन्ता योद्धा चैव धनंजय:,महाराज! बुद्धिमान्‌ अर्जुनका रथ जुता हुआ है। भगवान्‌ श्रीकृष्ण उसके सारथि और युद्धकुशल धनंजय रथी हैं

samāyukto mahārāja rathaḥ pārthasya dhīmataḥ | vāsudevaś ca saṁyantā yoddhā caiva dhanaṁjayaḥ ||

Bhīṣma nói: “Tâu Đại vương, chiến xa của người con Pṛthā (Arjuna), bậc trí giả, đã được trang bị đầy đủ và thắng ngựa chỉnh tề. Chính Vāsudeva (Kṛṣṇa) cầm dây cương làm xa phu, còn Dhanañjaya (Arjuna) đứng trên xe ấy làm chiến sĩ.” Về sức nặng đạo lý và tự sự, câu này nhấn mạnh rằng sức mạnh chính đáng trong chiến tranh không chỉ là vũ khí và kỹ nghệ, mà là sự chuẩn bị kỷ luật được dẫn dắt bởi trí tuệ cao hơn và sự tự chế.
