ते स्मरन्तश्न संग्रामे चरिष्यन्ति च रुद्रवत् । द्यूतक्रीड़ाके समय द्रौपदीको जो महान् क्लेश दिया गया और पाण्डवोंके प्रति कठोर बातें सुनायी गयीं
te smarantas tu saṅgrāme cariṣyanti ca rudravat | dyūtakrīḍā-kāle draupadyā mahān kleśo yaḥ pradattaḥ pāṇḍavān prati ca kaṭhorāṇi vacāṃsi śrāvitāni tāni sarvāṇi smṛtvā te raṇabhūmau rudrasamaṃ vicariṣyanti |
Bhīṣma nói: “Nhớ lại những điều ấy giữa chiến trận, họ sẽ tung hoành như Rudra. Nhớ nỗi nhục lớn đã giáng xuống Draupadī trong ván xúc xắc, và những lời cay nghiệt ném vào các Pāṇḍava, họ sẽ đi khắp chiến địa như Rudra.”
