भीष्मकृतः पाण्डवपक्ष-महारथ-प्रशंसा
Bhishma’s appraisal of Pandava-aligned chariot-warriors
भिन्ना हि सेना नृपते दुःसंधेया भवत्युत । मौला हि पुरुषव्यात्र किमु नानासमुत्थिता:
bhinnā hi senā nṛpate duḥsandheyā bhavaty uta | maulā hi puruṣavyāghra kimu nānāsamutthitāḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi bậc quân vương, một khi quân đội đã bị chia rẽ bởi bất hòa nội bộ thì vô cùng khó mà kết lại. Trong cảnh ấy, ngay cả những thuộc hạ gắn bó từ lâu đời, truyền đời phục dịch, cũng tuột khỏi tay người chỉ huy—huống chi những kẻ từ nhiều nơi tụ về, chỉ vì một mục đích nhất thời.”
