शृणुष्वानवशेषेण वदतो मम पार्थिव । य आत्मनो दुश्चरितादशुभं प्राप्त॒ुयान्नर: । नस कालं न वा देवानेनसा गन्तुमहति

Transliteration

śṛṇuṣvānavaśeṣeṇa vadato mama pārthiva | ya ātmanaḥ duścaritād aśubhaṃ prāptuyān naraḥ | na sa kālaṃ na vā devān enasā gantum arhati, bhūpāla ||

Translation

Sañjaya thưa: “Tâu bệ hạ, xin hãy nghe trọn lời thần nói. Kẻ nào do chính hạnh kiểm xấu xa của mình mà chuốc lấy kết cục bất tường thì không có quyền đổ lỗi cho Thời gian hay cho chư thần về tội lỗi của mình, hỡi đấng trị vì cõi đất.”
