उलूकदूतवाक्यम् / Ulūka’s Message to the Pāṇḍavas
ध्वजेनादित्यवर्णेन प्रविवेश महाचमूम् । उसने कवच, धनुष, दस्ताने, खड़ग और तरकस धारण किये सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी ध्वजके साथ पाण्डवोंकी विशाल सेनामें प्रवेश किया
dhvajenādityavarṇena praviveśa mahācāmūm |
Vaiśampāyana nói: Mang theo lá cờ rực rỡ như mặt trời, ông tiến vào đại quân—đầy đủ giáp trụ, cung, găng tay, kiếm và ống tên—thân ảnh tỏa ánh quang như nhật luân khi bước vào đại doanh của Pāṇḍava.
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights the disciplined readiness and visible responsibility of a warrior entering a collective cause: arms and insignia are not mere display, but signs of preparedness and commitment within the larger moral and political crisis leading to war.
Vaiśampāyana narrates that a warrior—distinguished by a sun-bright banner—enters the Pāṇḍavas’ vast army, fully equipped with armor and weapons, signaling his arrival and martial readiness within the assembled host.
