धृतराष्ट्रस्य वंशोपदेशः
Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Dynastic Counsel on Legitimate Rule
अतिक्रामति य: शास्त्र पितुर्धर्मार्थदर्शिन: । एते नश्यन्ति कुरवो दुर्योधनकृतेन वै
atikrāmati yaḥ śāstraṁ pitur dharmārthadarśinaḥ | ete naśyanti kuravo duryodhanakṛtena vai ||
Vidura nói: Kẻ nào vượt quá những điều răn dạy của śāstra, lại không chịu nghe cả lời cha mình—người thấy rõ đâu là dharma và đâu là lợi ích chân thật—thì chính kẻ ấy trở thành nguyên nhân của diệt vong. Quả thật, chỉ vì hành vi của Duryodhana mà toàn thể dòng Kaurava đang bị hủy diệt.
