अथ ये नैव कुर्वन्ति नैव जातु भवन्ति ते । ऐकगुण्यमनीहायामभाव: कर्मणां फलम्
atha ye naiva kurvanti naiva jātu bhavanti te | aikaguṇyam anīhāyām abhāvaḥ karmaṇāṃ phalam ||
Nhưng kẻ hoàn toàn không hành động—dù trong bất cứ hoàn cảnh nào—thì chẳng thể trở thành tác nhân hữu hiệu trong đời. Trong trạng thái một chiều của sự ì trệ và thiếu nỗ lực, kết cục của hành động chỉ là “không có”: không sinh ra quả báo nào.
