Udyoga-parva Adhyāya 130: Kuntī’s Instruction on Rājadharma and Daṇḍanīti

Educational Q&A

The verse frames the political crisis as occurring under the gaze of divine and sage-like orders, implying that decisions about war are not merely strategic but ethically accountable within a larger dharmic cosmos.

The narrator points out who is present: the Pāṇḍavas and the allied Yādava clans (Andhakas and Vṛṣṇis), along with groups of gods (Ādityas, Rudras, Vasus) and great seers—emphasizing the magnitude and solemnity of the gathering.
