चचाल च मही कृत्स्ना सागरश्नापि चुक्षुभे । विस्मयं परमं जगम्मु: पार्थिवा भरतर्षभ,भरतश्रेष्ठ] उस समय सारी पृथ्वी डगमगाने लगी, समुद्रमें खलबली पड़ गयी और समस्त भूपाल अत्यन्त विस्मित हो गये
cacāla ca mahī kṛtsnā sāgaraś cāpi cukṣubhe | vismayaṃ paramaṃ jagmur pārthivā bharatarṣabha ||
Dhṛtarāṣṭra nói: “Khi ấy, toàn cõi đất rung chuyển; ngay cả đại dương cũng dậy sóng. Các vua chúa tụ hội đều kinh ngạc đến tột cùng, hỡi bậc tráng sĩ của dòng Bharata.”
