भीष्मद्रोणयोर्दुर्योधनं प्रति शान्त्युपदेशः | Bhīṣma and Droṇa’s Counsel to Duryodhana for Pacification

ये त्वां प्रोत्साहयन्त्येते नैते कृत्याय कर्िचित्‌ | वैरं परेषां ग्रीवायां प्रतिमोक्ष्यन्ति संयुगे

Transliteration

ye tvāṁ protsāhayanty ete naite kṛtyāya karhicit | vairaṁ pareṣāṁ grīvāyāṁ pratimokṣyanti saṁyuge ||

Translation

Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Những kẻ đang xúi giục ngươi kia, kỳ thực chẳng bao giờ hành động vì lợi ích của ngươi. Trong chiến trận, họ chỉ buộc mối thù của kẻ khác lên cổ ngươi, bắt ngươi gánh lấy gánh nặng và hậu quả của sự thù địch.”
