अभेद्यं भास्करेणापि स्वयं वा कृष्णवर्त्मना । मृत्युके पश्चात् इस दिशामें जानेवाले प्राणीको ऐसे घोर अन्धकारका सामना करना पड़ता है, जो साक्षात् अग्नि एवं सूर्यके लिये भी अभेद्य है
abhedyaṁ bhāskareṇāpi svayaṁ vā kṛṣṇavartmanā | mṛtyuke paścāt asyāṁ diśiṁ jānevāle prāṇīko aise ghora andhakārakā sāmnā karnā paṛtā hai, jo sākṣāt agni evaṁ sūryake liye bhī abhedya hai
Yuparṇa nói: “Sau khi chết, kẻ đi về phương này phải đối diện một màn tối kinh hoàng—tối đến nỗi ngay cả lửa và mặt trời cũng không thể xuyên thấu. Ở đó, mọi nguồn sáng và sự dẫn dắt thường tình đều bất lực; như một lời cảnh tỉnh rằng lộ trình hậu tử của linh hồn được định hình bởi nghiệp và những lựa chọn của chính mình.”
