विदुर्य कपिल देवं येनार्ता: सगरात्मजा: । सूर्यके समान तेजस्वी महर्षि कर्दमसे उत्पन्न हुए “चक्रधनु” नामक महर्षि इसी दिशामें रहते थे
Yūparṇa uvāca: Vidura, Kapila-devaḥ sa ṛṣiḥ yena ārtāḥ Sagarātmajāḥ bhasmīkṛtāḥ. Sūrya-sama-tejasvī Mahārṣiḥ Kardamasya utpannaḥ “Cakradhanu” nāma mahārṣiḥ asyāṃ diśi vasati; taṃ sarve “Kapiladeva” iti jānanti. Sa eva Sagarasya putrān bhasma cakāra.
Yūparṇa nói: “Vidura, chính theo hướng này có bậc thánh hiền thần tính Kapila ngự—rực rỡ như Mặt Trời—sinh từ đại hiền Kardama, cũng được biết đến như vị ṛṣi mang danh Cakradhanu. Mọi người đều gọi Ngài là ‘Kapiladeva’. Chính Ngài đã thiêu rụi những người con khốn khổ của Sagara thành tro bụi.”
