गालवस्य विषादः तथा विष्णुप्रयाणम्
Gālava’s Despair and Resolve to Seek Viṣṇu
भुक्त मे तिष्ठ तावत् त्वमित्युक्त्वा भगवान् ययौ । विश्वामित्रस्ततो राजन् स्थित एव महाद्युति:
bhukta me tiṣṭha tāvat tvam ity uktvā bhagavān yayau | viśvāmitras tato rājan sthita eva mahādyutiḥ ||
Nói xong: “Ta đã ăn rồi; nay ngươi cứ ở lại đây,” đức Thần Dharma đáng tôn kính liền rời khỏi nơi ấy. Hỡi Đại vương, bấy giờ hiền giả Viśvāmitra rực rỡ vẫn đứng nguyên tại chỗ, lặng lẽ chịu đựng trong sự nhẫn nại.
नारद उवाच
The verse highlights dharma expressed as restraint and endurance: even when dismissed or left waiting, a disciplined person maintains composure and steadiness rather than reacting with anger or entitlement.
Dharma tells Viśvāmitra that he has already eaten and instructs him to stay for the moment; Dharma then leaves. Viśvāmitra, described as greatly radiant, remains standing there exactly as he was, continuing to bear the circumstance.
