Virāṭa-sabhāyāṃ Saṃniveśaḥ — Assembly at Virāṭa’s Hall and Kṛṣṇa’s Diplomatic Counsel
सभा तु सा मत्स्यपते: समृद्धा मणिप्रवेकोत्तमरत्नचित्रा । न्यस्तासना माल्यवती सुगन्धा तामभ्ययुस्ते नरराजवृद्धा:
vaiśaṃpāyana uvāca | sabhā tu sā matsyapateḥ samṛddhā maṇipravokottamaratnacitrā | nyastāsanā mālyavatī sugandhā tām abhyayus te nararājavṛddhāḥ ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: Đại sảnh triều đình của chúa tể xứ Matsya vô cùng phồn thịnh—được trang sức bằng chạm khảm châu báu và nạm những bảo thạch tinh tuyển. Chỗ ngồi đã bày theo đúng thứ bậc; vòng hoa giăng mắc, hương thơm lan tỏa khắp không gian. Vào trong đại sảnh huy hoàng ấy, các bậc quốc vương cao niên và hàng đầu đã đến tụ hội, uy nghi và đầy đủ nghi vệ.
