भुक्तवत्सु द्विजेन्द्रेष यथावत्‌ सम्प्रदापयेत्‌ । वाचकं भरतश्रेष्ठ भोजयित्वा स्वलंकृतम्‌

Transliteration

bhuktavatsu dvijendreṣu yathāvat sampradāpayet | vācakaṃ bharataśreṣṭha bhojayitvā svalakṛtam, bharatabhūṣaṇa |

Translation

Vaiśampāyana nói: “Khi các Bà-la-môn bậc nhất đã dùng bữa xong, người ta phải ban bố thí thích đáng theo đúng phép. Rồi, hỡi bậc ưu tú trong dòng Bharata, hãy tôn vinh người tụng kể—được trang sức bằng y phục và đồ trang sức—và đãi ông ấy bằng món ăn thượng hảo; sau đó, thật hợp lẽ khi làm cho ông ấy mãn nguyện bằng bố thí và sự kính trọng.”
