तेषामिदानीं के लोका द्रष्टमिच्छामि तानहम् | कर्ण चैव महात्मानं कौन्तेयं सत्यसंगरम्
teṣām idānīṃ ke lokā draṣṭum icchāmi tān aham | karṇaṃ caiva mahātmānaṃ kaunteyaṃ satyasaṅgaram ||
Vaiśaṃpāyana nói: “Giờ đây ta muốn thấy họ đã đạt đến những cõi nào. Và ta cũng mong được diện kiến Karṇa, bậc đại hồn—con của Kuntī—người kiên trụ nơi chân thật và không hề lay chuyển giữa chiến trận.”
