धृतराष्ट्रस्य मूर्च्छा—व्यासोपदेशः

Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Collapse and Vyāsa’s Counsel

कार्यार्थमुपसम्प्राप्ता देवतानां समीपत: । अनघ! वहाँ नारद आदि समस्त देवर्षि भी उपस्थित थे। पृथ्वीनाथ! मैंने वहीं इस पृथ्वीको भी देखा, जो किसी कार्यके लिये देवताओंके पास गयी थी

kāryārtham upasamprāptā devatānāṃ samīpataḥ | anagha! tatra nārada-ādi-samastadevarṣayo 'pi upasthitāḥ āsan | pṛthvīnātha! aham api tatraiva imāṃ pṛthivīm apaśyam, yā kasyacid kāryasya kṛte devatānāṃ samīpaṃ gatā āsīt |

Vyāsa nói: “Vì một việc cần làm, nàng đã đến trước chư thiên. Hỡi người vô tội, ở đó cũng có Nārada và hết thảy các thiên hiền. Hỡi chúa tể cõi đất, ta cũng đã thấy chính Nữ Thần Đất ở nơi ấy—bà đã đến với chư thiên để cầu cho một mục đích được thành tựu.”
