Vaiśampāyana nói: “Dẫu vậy, con trai bà còn làm điều xúc phạm chúng ta hơn nữa: giữa hội trường đông đủ, hắn đã phô bày đùi trái của mình trước mặt Draupadī.”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Public humiliation and shameless insult in a royal assembly are presented as severe adharma. Such acts violate dignity and social order, intensify hostility, and become moral causes that ripen into collective suffering.
Vaiśampāyana recalls an earlier outrage: the Kuru prince (implicitly Duryodhana) insulted Draupadī in the assembly by displaying his left thigh. The verse frames this as a particularly grievous offense remembered amid the lamentations and moral reckoning of the Strī Parva.
