Yuddha-yajña-vyākhyāna (The Battle as Sacrifice): Ambarīṣa–Indra Saṃvāda
भीष्म उवाच इत्येतच्छक्रवचनं निशम्य प्रतिगृह्म॒ च । योधानामात्मन: सिद्धिमम्बरीषो5भिपन्नवान्
bhīṣma uvāca | ityetac chakravacanaṃ niśamya pratigṛhya ca | yodhānām ātmanaḥ siddhim ambarīṣo 'bhipannavān |
Bhīṣma nói: “Hỡi Yudhiṣṭhira, nghe những lời ấy của Śakra (Indra) và thầm chấp nhận trong lòng, vua Ambarīṣa tin chắc rằng đối với chiến sĩ, thành tựu và thắng lợi tự nhiên phát sinh như hệ quả tất yếu của bổn phận đã định.”
