हतस्य कर्तुमिच्छन्ति तस्य लोकान् शृणुष्व मे । युद्धमें मारे गये वीरके लिये उसके आत्मीयजन न तो स्नान करना चाहते हैं
Translation
Hãy nghe ta nói về những cõi mà người đã bị giết sẽ đạt đến. Đối với dũng sĩ chết trong chiến trận, thân quyến của người ấy chẳng muốn tắm gội, chẳng muốn giữ các nghi thức bất tịnh (aśauca), chẳng muốn bố thí thức ăn làm śrāddha, cũng chẳng muốn dâng nước cúng tārpaṇa.
