उतथ्योपदेशः—राजधर्मः, दर्पनिग्रहः, प्रजारक्षणम्
Utathya’s Instruction: Royal Dharma, Restraint of Pride, Protection of Subjects
स यथा दर्पसहितमधर्म नानुसेवते । तथा वर्तस्व मान्धातत्रिरं चेत् स्थातुमिच्छसि,मान्धाता! यदि तुम चिरकालतक राजसिंहासनपर विराजमान रहना चाहते हो तो ऐसा बर्ताव करो, जिससे तुम्हारे द्वारा दर्प और अधर्मका सेवन न हो
sa yathā darpa-sahitam adharmam nānusevate | tathā vartasva māndhātar ciraṁ cet sthātum icchasi ||
Như người không nên nuôi dưỡng điều phi chính (adharma) khi nó đi kèm kiêu mạn, thì ngươi cũng hãy xử sự như vậy, hỡi Māndhātṛ, nếu muốn đứng vững lâu dài trên ngai vàng.
