Chapter 81: Trust, Allies, and the Qualifications of the King’s Artha-Secretary (अर्थसचिव)
यस्य क्षेत्रादप्युदकं क्षेत्रमन््यस्य गच्छति । न तत्रानिच्छतस्तस्य भियद्येरन् सर्वसेतव:
yasya kṣetrād apy udakaṃ kṣetram anyasya gacchati | na tatra anicchatas tasya bhidyeyuḥ sarva-setavaḥ ||
Bhīṣma nói: Nếu nước từ ruộng của người này chảy sang ruộng của người khác, thì dù có lợi cho người kia, cũng không được trái ý chủ ruộng mà phá, khoét hay cắt qua bờ đê và ranh giới ở đó. Quy tắc này giữ gìn sự tự chế và tôn trọng tài sản của người khác, đồng thời điều hòa việc dùng chung nguồn nước tưới tiêu.
